Welcome back, Jaguars! Thank you for tuning in to week thirty of The Claw spring sports edition. Last week was an eventful one, as many of our Jaguar athletic programs competed in several games. Let’s get straight into last week’s athletic report.
Dominating the waters: Lady Jags water polo
Last week, the Lady Jags’ water polo team did not compete in any games, as it was spring break.Â
The Lady Jags currently hold a record of 10-3 and have three games scheduled for this week. First, they are at home as they face off against Flanagan High School on Tuesday, March 24, @6:30 pm. Then, on Wednesday, March 25 @7 pm, they are at South Broward High School. Finally, they end their week at home on Thursday, March 26 @6:30 pm against Western High School.Â
Making a splash: Jag Boys water polo
Last week, the Jag Boys water polo team did not compete in any games since it was spring break.Â
Currently, they hold a record of 2-8, and this week they are scheduled to compete in three games. The first game is at home on Tuesday, March 24 @7:30 pm against Flanagan High School. Then, on Wednesday, March 25 @8pm they are at South Broward High School. Finally, they end their week at home against Western High School on Thursday, March 26 @7:30 pm.Â
Claws out: Lady Jags softball
Last week, the Lady Jags softball team did not compete in any games since it was spring break.Â
They currently stand with a record of 7-2, and this week they have two home games scheduled. On Wednesday, March 25 @6:30 pm, they face off against Western High School. Then, they end their week under the Friday night lights on March 27 @6:30 pm against Archbishop McCarthy High School.Â
Chasing Excellence: Lady Jags JV softball
Last week, the Lady Jags JV softball team faced off against Cardinal Gibbons High School and won.Â
They currently stand with a record of 1-5 and compete in one game this week at home against Forest Hill High School on Saturday, March 28 @10 am and @12 pm.Â
Claws in the court: Jaguars tennis
The Jaguars’ tennis team did not compete in any matches last week since it was spring break.Â
This week, they are scheduled to compete in two away matches. The first is on Monday, March 23 @4 pm against West Broward High School. Then, they end their week against Cypress Bay High School on Wednesday, March 25 @4 pm.Â
Jaguars varsity baseball swinging through the season
Last week, the Jaguars baseball team went 2-2 as they competed in the spring break tournament, which consisted of four games. The first game was on Tuesday, March 17, against Lake Howell High School, which they left with a Jaguar victory of 7-5. This was followed by a loss of 2-0 on Wednesday, March 18, against Lake Minneola High School. Then, they faced off against Horizon High School on Thursday, March 19, and lost 6-0. Finally, they ended the tournament with a 6-0 victory against Deltona High School on Friday, March 20.Â
The Jaguars currently hold a record of 8-9 and compete in three games this week. The first game takes place at home on Tuesday, March 24, @6:30 pm against Nova High School; this is followed by an away game on Wednesday, March 25, @3:30 pm against Chaminade Madonna High School. Then, they end their week under the Friday night lights at Taravella High School on March 27 @6:30 pm.
Jaguars JV baseball ready to roar
Last week, the Jaguars’ JV baseball team did not compete in any games since it was spring break.Â
The JV Jaguars baseball team now stands with a record of 5-3 and has a double header scheduled for this week at home on Saturday, March 28, @10 am and @12:30 pm against Western High School.
Jaguars track sprinting into the season
Last week, the Jaguars track team did not compete in any meets since it was spring break.Â
This week, the Jaguars compete in the BCAA finals under the Friday night lights on March 27.
Lady Jags flag football takes the field
The Lady Jags flag football team did not compete in any games last week since it was spring break.Â
They currently stand with a record of 0-6 and have two home games scheduled for this week. The first game is against West Broward High School on Tuesday, March 24 @4:30 pm. This is followed by another game against Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Wednesday, March 25 @5 pm.Â
Jaguars boys volleyball: claws in the net
Last week, the Jaguars boys’ volleyball team competed in the spring break tournament, which consisted of five games. The first was against Coral Park High School on Friday, March 20, which they left with a Jaguar victory of 2-0. This was followed by another game against Immaculata-La Salle High School, on the same day, and the Jaguars left with another victory of 2-1. Then, they ended the day off against Miami High School with a win of 2-1.
The next day, Saturday, March 21, they faced off against Homestead High School and won 2-0. Followed by their last game of the tournament against Cypress Bay High School, which ended in a loss of 1-2.

The Jaguars’ beach volleyball team did not compete in any games last week since it was spring break.Â
They currently stand with a record of 0-3 and are scheduled to compete in two games this week. The first is on Tuesday, March 24 @3:30 pm at Chaminade Madonna High School. Then, their last game of the week takes place on Thursday, March 26 @3:30 pm at Cypress Bay High School.Â
