“Kaitlyn’s beach party. I’ve always stuck around the same people all the time. I just randomly started talking to everyone all of a sudden…” Shaniah Tasia Shanice Cox. Jamaican (“100%). Going to Nova, then transferring to USC. Aquarius, and mostly in the way that she’s very spontaneous and open. She values open-mindedness, in fact. She treasures how we’re always given the chance to have new experiences and to meet new people, and she can see everything that the world has to offer. Although, she does believe that sometimes people’s doubt can block them from all that. She’s into meditation and the spiritual being, after all. But regardless, Shaniah is also a pretty nice and non-judgy character, despite the fact that sometimes she can come off as rude because of the way she says things. She does aim to improve her character, nonethelessー to stop procrastinating her days away, to learn to not take “no” for an answer, to start socializing with more people (as she only talks to two people everyday: Christ-In and her boyfriend). And with this aim of improvement, she hopes to one day become part of the entertainment industry, just like her dad and her older sister. Shaniah hopes to work with different artists in music on new projects, being part of an agency in which she can recruit them and plan their festivals and events. And before you know it, by the time she’s 27, she’ll continue traveling but will eventually settle back in Miami with her husband Tariq, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. No matter what, she’ll always be “busy” with projects to work on and stopping every now and then to collect beautiful art pieces.. Charter support team: family and Christ-In. Favorite show: Money Heist. Favorite movie: Insidious 2. Favorite artists: Jhené Aiko and Lil Uzi. Advice for charter underclassmen: “Just be yourself. Don’t be afraid to do anything, to branch out, take a class. Just kinda go with it.”
