With the year coming to an end, there are many things to be thankful for. From friends and family that support us, the many activities the school has put out for us, and having good health. What are other things Jags are thankful for?

“I am thankful for my family and friends that support me through my everyday life.” – Freshman Maria Estrada

“It is around these hallways that I  met my heroes, my role models, and my leaders. I am glad to say that I have people in my life that inspire me to be a better person everyday, to teach me new purposes, and ways of viewing the things I do. These heroes that I had shed blood, sweat, and tears with are the people who help me get through my day, no matter how tired or sad that I am. My heroes are always there to support me and push on within any circumstances. That is what I am thankful for.” – Freshman Abraham Penaloza

“I’m thankful for the friends I met last year when we did virtual school because they remember me and recognize me even with a mask on. Even though I barely saw my friends during quarantine, I still remained close with them, which I am grateful for. I’m also thankful for my teachers who have done their best to help all of us through all our transition periods like going in and out of virtual, being new to highschool, helping me in any way they can.” –  Sophomore Liana Samuel

“I’m thankful for my close friends and family that support me and encourage me to do my best!” –  Sophomore Gabriella Tolentino

“I’m grateful to have a roof over my head and a caring family.” – Junior Brianna Bryan

“One thing I am grateful for is that I have access to technology in the United States. Because we have access to them, it has opened doors for new research and also helps further our education as a country. We often take this for granted because we don’t realize many countries don’t have the same access to the technology that we do. I feel that having the privilege of technology is so overlooked when in reality, it is such a blessing.” –  Junior Savannah Hawkins

“I am thankful for the events and activities the school holds available for us students.” –  Senior Yassin Mchatet

“I’m grateful for the time I get to spend with my friends instead of at home and I’m just as grateful for the fact that I’m fortunate to have time and good health in unpredictable times” –  Senior Adeline Rodriguez

On a personal note, I’m thankful for being able to go to school in person this year because I get to be with my friends and hang out with them. I’m also grateful for all the teachers that have been doing their best to teach all of us.
