The Claw: Week 12

Welcome back, Jaguars! Thank you for tuning in to week twelve of The Claw, fall sports edition. Last week was an eventful one as many of our Jaguar athletic programs competed in several games. Let’s get straight into last week’s athletic report, as the fall sports season is wrapping up and the winter sports season is now beginning.

Jags swimming to success

Last week, the Jags swim team competed in districts on Tuesday, October 28, at Miami Dade College North Campus. Only one Jaguar placed first, which was Atharv Agashe in the 500 freestyle. Since both the girls and boys teams placed in districts, several swimmers have moved on to regionals, which takes place this week on Thursday, November 6.

Jags Cross Country sprinting through the season

Last week, the Jags Cross Country team did not have a meet scheduled, yet this week they are scheduled to compete in districts on Thursday, November 6.

Boys Soccer Protecting the Den

After ending last season with a record of 18-1-2 and wrapping up their season at state semi-finals, the Jags soccer team is roaring back to defend the regional champion title. This week, the Jags officially kick off their season with their home opener on Tuesday, November 4, @5pm against Cooper City High School.

Lady Jags on the Prowl

The Lady Jags soccer team is back and ready to defend its district championship title after ending last season with a final record of 11-6. This week, their home opener takes place on Tuesday, November 4, @7pm against Cooper City High School.
