Welcome back, Jaguars! Thank you for tuning in to week three of The Claw, fall sports edition. Let’s get straight into last week’s athletic report.
Lady Jags securing the net
This week, the Lady Jags played one game, which was at Coral Springs Charter on Thursday, August 28th. The Lady Jags ended the game with a loss and a final score of 0-3, adding to their current record of 1-3.
Continuing through the season, the Lady Jags are attempting to redeem themselves next week as they face off at South Plantation High School @6 pm on Wednesday, September 3rd. Also, on Friday, September 5th, the Lady Jags face off in a home game against Somerset Academy @6 pm.
Lady Jags JV Volleyball setting into the season
The Lady Jags JV Volleyball team competed in their first official game of their season against Coral Spring Charter High School on Thursday, August 28th. The Lady Jags ended their game with a tough loss of 0-2.
The Lady Jags next game and home opener is on Tuesday, September 9th @4:30 pm against Cooper City High School.
Jag Boyz Football kicks off their home opener
On August 29th, the Friday night lights were beaming, as the Jag Boyz kicked off their home opener against Coral Springs Charter High School. Despite a three hour delay, the Jag Boyz refused to go home. Instead of a 6 pm game, the game started at 9pm.
The game was a nail biter, yet ended in a final score of 8-10. Which ended up as the Jag Boyz first loss of the season, making their current record 1-1.
Roaring back for blood, the Jag Boyz face off against North Broward Preparatory High School at home on Thursday, September 4th @6 pm; make sure to be there!

JV Jags Football roaring into the season
This Wednesday, September 3rd @6 pm the JV Jags Football Team is kicking off their home opener against South Plantation High School. The JV Jags are ready for what comes this season and have high expectations and hopes.
Jag’s swimming to success
The Jags first swim meet was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 27th at Nova High School, yet it got cancelled due to weather complications.
The Jags home opener takes place on Thursday, September 4th @7 pm. The Jags are ready for what comes next, as they swim into their first official meet.
Jag’s Cross Country sprinting into the season
The Jags Cross Country Team’s first meet is on Tuesday, September 2nd @4 pm at Markham Park. The Jags will face off against other local high schools from the area, and are ready for what comes this season.
Jag’s Golf Team swinging into the season
The Jag’s Golf Team swings into their home opener on Tuesday, September 2nd against Cypress Bay High School. Roaring into the season with high hopes, the Jags are excited to start off the season. Also, they have another home match against Nova High School on Thursday, September 4th at home @3:30 pm.
