Let’s get straight into last week’s athletic report.
Lady Jags securing the net
The Lady Jags competed in three games this week, winning one out of the three. On Monday, August 18th, the Lady Jags volleyball team spiked into the fall season at their home opener against Pompano Beach, which they won 3-2.
Yet, the Lady Jags fell to Cypress Bay High School on Thursday, August 21, with the final score being 1-3, and also to Chaminade Madonna High School on Friday, August 22, 0-3. The Lady Jags will not let this hurt their pride as they are still pushing through the rest of the season with high hopes and effort. Their next game is at Coral Springs Charter High School on THIS Thursday, August 28th @6 pm.
Jag Boyz Football kicks off the season
On Friday, August 22, the Jag Boyz kicked off their season at Northeast High School. The Jag Boyz left with a victory of 51-0. As they are off to a strong start for this season, their home opener is on THIS Friday, August 29 @6 pm against Coral Springs Charter High School.
Players of the Game:
- Alexander Steszewski with one touchdown, three tackles, and 1.0 sacks.
- Josiah Knight with 165 completed yards and one rushing touchdown.
- Aiden Oscar with an interception.
- Quincy Walker with nine tackles and 2.5 sacks.
