
The Lady Jags JV Volleyball team is back and ready for a revenge season. Last season, the Lady Jags held a record of 3-6, yet this season, they plan on taking the initiative and having a comeback like no other.
The Lady Jags are going into this season with high hopes and fearlessness. They plan on bringing a fierce and strong mindset this season, as they are expecting to turn their record back around. While getting ready for their new season, they keep in mind all the effort that they have put in and are coming back for blood.
Freshman Miranda Rojas explains how she came into this season nervous since this is her first year representing her school, yet she plans on taking initiative as a Libero. “I make sure to communicate with my teammates, making sure they are okay, and emphasize being a leader and the person they can talk to on the court.”
The Lady Jags are looking forward to rebuilding their team and putting in all of their effort to perform to their best abilities. Although they have struggled in the past, the Lady Jags are hoping for a new beginning and a fresh start.
Sophomore Milani Bryant-Clarke expresses her hopes and predictions for this season as she believes that this season “we have a strong chance of winning the majority if we lock in and work together.”
The Lady Jags JV Volleyball team’s home opener took place on Monday, August 18th, against Pompano Beach High School, in which the Lady Jags left with a Jaguar (2-1).
This season, the Lady Jags JV Volleyball team aspires to transform their team into something unrecognizable, giving them a reputation, a name by which they will be remembered, and a name that will scream “revenge season, back for blood”.
