The PPCHS band played music for the event’s guests, alongside performances from other schools. Other groups did other musical performances, comedy, childrens’ performances, and even karate showcases.

Finn Phelps Crossman, Features Editor
Hi! My name is Finn, and I’m the Features Editor for the CHAT. I’m currently a junior, and this is my third year with the newspaper. I’m super excited to write more stories this year! I also do debate, and in my free time I like to write stories, play D&D and video games with my friends, watch shows, and spend time reading about computer parts that I’m probably never going to buy. My favorite game is Cyberpunk 2077, my favorite show is Neon Genesis: Evangelion, my favorite book is Neuromancer, and I love to read the new Chainsaw Man chapters every Tuesday! I’m currently writing a sci-fi novel that I’ve scrapped three times. If you need to contact me, I can be reached by email (@[email protected]) or on Instagram (@finn.p08). I know my photo looks like I don’t have arms but I promise I do.

Kayla Carrasco, Photo Staff
Hey! My name is Kayla Carrasco and this is my first year with the CHAT. I am in 12th grade and excited that I can be part of the team this year! I am one of the photographers and I am super excited to continue my passion for photography, while sharing my work to many students! When I am not taking photos you can find me hanging out with friends or journaling. Some interesting things about me are that I do the morning announcements and I love to bake. Feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]
