Constanza Jara

Constanza Jara

“Making Regionals for swimming in sophomore year…I didn’t think as a sophomore I would make it that far.” Constanza Paz Jara. Chilean. Going to BC, then transferring to UCF. Aquarius, but she doesn’t really “keep up” with astrology. She’s a very chill, laid-back type of person, not choosing to stress over many things as she likes to “take life one day at a time.” And she’s a very honest person as well. She values other “loyal and true” people while disliking those “fake” and “negative” individuals who bring others down. But even so, Constanza is also known to be someone who has a generally quiet nature. She doesn’t talk as much and appears to be quite introverted. She actually prefers it that way, and because of this reticent trait of hers, Constanza tends to be a good listener as well when hearing out other people’s problems. Nonetheless, she can still become a bit more extroverted once you get to know her, and she also does hope to work on becoming more outgoing and self-confident when it comes to her self-growth. And with that hope in mind, Constanza also aims to study sports medicine and to become a physical therapist. She’s known this for 2 years, as she’s always had a passion for sports and helping athlete performance. And so then, she’ll be an ex-swimmer, ex-water polo player who’s constantly helping out her athlete patients and living in a nice house with a husband and 2 kids (not in Florida). Charter support team: Britney, Natasha, Priscilla, Sarah M., Alyssa M. Favorite show: The 100. Favorite artist: Bad Bunny. Advice for charter underclassmen: “Just be yourself, and don’t try to be someone that you’re not.”
