TIME: 10:30 AM

Teachers will dismiss at the cue of the announcement.

IMPORTANT: Students should bring an extra PPCHS polo in hand to participate.

If you do not attend the pickup, you can pick up your gown on May 30-31 at the Guidance office BEFORE 1 p.m.

Senior Dinner

DATE: May 29

TIME: 6-8 PM

LOCATION: Pembroke Pines Charter High School Dining Hall (Cafeteria)

MANDATORY Rehearsal

DATE: Thursday, May 30th

TIME: Arrive BY 12:30 PM at Charles F. Dodge City
Center. Rehearsal should end at about 2:30 PM

Do NOT wear your Cap and Gown to Rehearsal

Listen to instructions; the faster we get organized, the faster we leave!!!

You will receive your Grad tickets at the end of the rehearsal

Graduation Day

DATE: May 31

ARRIVAL TIME: Graduates should arrive/check-in at City Center by 2:30-3:00 pm.

•Graduates MUST be sitting inside the City Center by 3:30 PM.

START TIME: Graduation begins at 5:30 PM.

END TIME: Graduation will end by 7:30 PM.

Parking Options:
•Parents and students can park on the east side of the City Center
•Valet Optional on the west side of the City Center for $17.00

Graduate Entrance:
•Graduates will enter on the rear east side of the City Center without parents/guests.

•Guest Entrance:
•Guests will not be allowed to enter the City
Center until 4:30 PM.
•Pre-registered ADA seating will enter at 4pm
Cap Decorations

Students WILL be allowed to appropriately decorate their caps!

Please ensure that cap decorations DO NOT include any of the following:

Projectile objects OR 3D items (all decorations must be flat)

Decorative materials that hang from the cap. All décor must be adhered to the top of the cap.

Phrases, images, designs or language that may be deemed offensive or controversial.

No foul language.
End of Ceremony

When the ceremony is completed:

Students will turn their tassels to signify the end of graduation.

Students and guests will stand to listen to the PPCHS Band spirit song, and there will be a recessional.

*Guests should designate a meeting place before the ceremony to meet graduates afterward.*

**If you are making dinner reservations, please consider parking exiting and general traffic congestion!**

IMPORTANT:

Graduates will exit out of the north exit by the lobby entrance.

Graduates will keep their graduation regalia Cap, Gown, Tassel, and Cords!
Diploma Pickup

DATES: June 5th & 12th

LOCATION: With Mrs. Benitez in the A Building at the guidance desk.

IMPORTANT:

Students will enter the campus from Jaguar Way and proceed as directed by our wonderful SRO officers and security.

Graduates MUST bring a picture ID to diploma pick-up. If a parent/guardian picks up the items, photo ID is required.

The diploma will be available for pickup. Again, please be sure you have met all financial obligations (cafeteria, textbooks).
