PPCHS has been hit with a major curveball that has shaken the landscape of events this school year. The news of the cancellation of school for the rest of the year came hard and fast. Like many clubs this school year, PPCHS HOSA was devastated by the news of their 2020 Florida HOSA State Leadership Conference being canceled. Senior member, Kelly Bravo was exceptionally let down as this was her last chance to showcase all the effort she has put into her club. Many of the HOSA seniors placed in the district competition and had been eligible to compete at the state competition in Orlando. The competition was composed of healthcare related competitive events. However for Kelly, her medical career is not going to end just yet. Kelly will be attending Florida State University as a Biology major on the Pre-Med track. Soon, she will be an amazing doctor and the devastation of her HOSA competition being cancelled will be all but a distant memory.
