Jag Boyz Home Opener Win
Thursday, August 22nd, the Varsity Jaguar Football team defeated the Northeast Hurricanes with the 41-12 victory. This puts the ‘Jag Boyz’ with a hot start, winning their first game of the season. Top player moments:
- QB1 Jayden Gonzalez threw a completed 228 passing yards and 4 touchdowns
- Dalai Graland with 7 tackles, 1 sack and 2 recovered fumbles
- Keidran Willis JR. completed 114 total yards with 2 rushing touchdowns and 1 receiving
The Jags head up to Coral Springs Charter for another regular season matchup THIS Friday, August 30th.
Lady Jags Securing the Net
Last week, the Lady Jaguars went to face off the Northeast Hurricanes, and just like the varsity boys, the Jaguars added another win to their season. The Lady Jags wasted no time against the Hurricanes dominating each set. Successfully winning all three sets, the Jaguars left on a high note, soon entering Raider territory just the next day, August 20th.
Unfortunately, the Lady Jags did fall short in all three sets at St. Thomas. Ending off their first regular season week 1-1. Looking for a strong bounce back, the Lady Jags took the Flanagan Falcons at an away game and came back victorious with a 3-0 win. This starts the week off with a bang leading to two home games against Stoneman Douglas and Coral Springs Charter.
Swimming to Success
Our varsity swimmers are ready to host their first meet of the ‘24 season, THIS Tuesday, August 27th. Pines Charter will be heading up against Taravella @7pm.
