Many charter students also are fans of Bruce Willis and the movies he acted in. Some of them were even affected when finding out that Bruce Willis had retired. Myles Derisma, a sophomore, expressed “I think that it’s unfortunate, because he had to retire from his acting career which was very important to him I suppose. It’s sad to have to stop doing something that one enjoys and maybe even loves.” Another sophomore, Austin Rodriguez, was awestruck finding out his childhood hero was retiring, “Me and my dad used to always watch Bruces’ films together, I practically grew up with him. When I found out that he was diagnosed with dementia and that he was retiring, I kind of felt sad and a little disappointed too, knowing that I was not going to be able to see him in any new movies.”
Bruce Willis will always be remembered for his amazing acting and portrayal in his films, changing many people’s lives. Even though he is retiring, many will not forget him and his work.
