The class of 22’ athletes at charter have had their fair share of success in the past four years. Everything from a state championship, district championships, and even state heartbreak. However, these seven athletes have made the most of their four years here at Pines Charter and have earned the title of BCAA Scholar Athletes. 

Gabriel Diaz

• Goalkeeper for boys varsity soccer team for one year 
• Racking up 77 saves for the Jaguars and held 8 Clean sheets
• Committed to play college soccer at the University of Chicago 

Sabrina Arujo-Elorza

• Four year starter on girls varsity soccer team. 
• Racked up 12 goals and 12 assists in her four years as a pivotal player in the midfield and selected player of the year by the coaches
• Committed to play Division 1 college soccer at Northeastern 

Nic Roman

• Four year Varsity soccer player
• Two year captain of the team
• Tallied 36 goals and 14 assists       
• 2x All-county first team 

Lillian McCormick

• Attended AVM and played Varsity Softball since 8th grade
• Top pitcher in the county averaging just under 2 runs allowed per game
• State Champion in 2018

Stella Dioguardi

• Senior captain of the Girls Waterpolo team
• In her last two seasons, she has gathered 58 goals and 28 assists
• Regional Finalist in 2021

Geoffrey Sprouse

• Attended AVM and played Varsity Basketball since 8th grade
• Charter’s second 1,000 point scorer in history
• Averaged 14 points in 5 years for the Jaguars and almost a steal per game

Victoria Torres

• Placed 4th in the Florida State Swim Championships
• Won Regionals for the Jaguars swim team 2021
• Back to Back District Champion in breast stroke and freestyle
