Thanksgiving Food Favorites

Fall is officially here! The month of November has come and some of your favorite holidays are just around the corner, especially Thanksgiving. Typically, turkey is the star of many Thanksgiving meals, but the feast wouldn’t be the same without some of these traditional side dishes like the honey baked ham, corn on the cob, green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc.
Below are some student responses to a common question asked during this holiday season,
What’s your favorite Thanksgiving foods and why?
“Corn on the cob is my favorite Thanksgiving food because it is pretty much the only form of corn I eat and it’s absolutely delicious! It’s the one thing I look forward to each year that my grandma makes especially for me. ” -Freshman Katia Borden
“The stuffing is my favorite Thanksgiving food because it’s something my mom would make for me each year. Growing up, the stuffing was always my favorite because I’d enjoy making it with her. ”-Freshman Leah Miragliotta
“My favorite Thanksgiving food is shepherd’s pie because before I met my cousins, I had an aunt that used to make shepherd’s pie every Thanksgiving. Now it is just a tradition.”– Sophomore Lady Zuriel Ayebah
