Excitement from fans is slowly building as the release of Stranger Things season five approaches. From the main characters potentially facing their biggest threats yet to friendship and family relationships being pushed to the limit, this season is guaranteed to be filled with suspense and action. Many opinions and theories have circulated regarding the new season and the ending of the Stranger Things series. With that, here are the predictions for Stranger Things season five from the students of Pembroke Pines Charter High School.
“A secret that I think will be uncovered during this season is that the Upside Down never really existed. I think that the entire show was all a giant game of Dungeons and Dragons, and it will end with the group finishing the game.” – Kierstyn Jorgenson, sophomore
“I feel like there won’t be a happy ending. Last season, they [the main protagonists] got defeated by Vecna, and then in season one, they were getting attacked by the Demogorgons. So if they all join together, everyone will die because of how strong they [the Stranger Things monsters] are.” – Yann Sainvil, sophomore
“First of all, Mike is going to die. Something is going to happen to Eleven, I don’t know what, though. I feel that they weren’t going to kill Steve in season four, but I think he’s going to die in season five. The ending is going to be really sad, [and I think] there isn’t going to be one happy moment.” – Sapphire Blake, sophomore
“I think Will might die. I just feel that since he’s connected to the Upside Down, maybe he might die or something will happen to him since he’s the source [to the Upside Down] .” – Jada Scott, junior
“I think Steve Harrington is going to die, and I also think that Eleven is going to get her powers back. But at the end of the season, I feel like everyone is going to move away again, but even farther than last time.” – Casey Smith, junior
“I think the season will wrap up the story by confirming everyone’s theories and conspiracies with how everything is and how the fourth season ended.” – Olivia Gonzalez, sophomore
