After its production delay, the highly anticipated KPOT finally opened, giving customers a combination of Korean barbecue and soup-based dishes. The restaurant initially planned to open its doors in Jan. 2025, but the opening was extended to July 28, 2025, due to unavoidable delays and final inspections. After its opening, KPOT has been filled with eager customers excited to try the new dining experience.
KPOT is a chain known for blending Korean BBQ with hotpot dining, which allows customers to cook their own meats, seafood, and vegetables right at the table. Each table has built-in grills and hotpot burners, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. It offers a diverse range of dishes, allowing customers to blend their taste buds with various ingredients.
KPOT introduces a new food feature to Pembroke Pines, offering a short wait to allow each customer to dine in their own pot. While they have an excessive number of chairs, leading to shorter wait times, the restaurant provides each table with outgoing music and a design to create a complete experience.
A fan-favorite area in the restaurant is renowned for its all-you-can-eat menu, which allows customers to try various portions of food. Multiple students and families have shared their excitement online, posting photos of their meals and showing off the fun of cooking with their families.
“I’ve never been to a place like this before,” said first-time visitor Angel Colon, “It’s really cool because you don’t just eat — you’re part of the cooking, and that makes it more memorable.” Customers enjoy the diversity of choosing their preferred soup or grilled food and selecting their own ingredients.
This is KPOT’s 12th opening in Florida alone. The management at this location described the excitement by saying, “Our goal has always been to bring people together through food. We wanted to give Pembroke Pines something unique, a place where families, friends, and even coworkers can sit down, cook, and share moments. Seeing the community embrace us so quickly has been incredible.”
After KPOT’s opening finally arrives, it doesn’t fail to draw in visitors. The blend of Korean barbecue and hotpot, paired with an all-you-can-eat menu, continues to attract curious newcomers and returning fans alike.
