Pines Charter’s Student Government Association (SGA) has supported the mission of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month which is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their life to suicide and raise awareness for those who are struggling. As students from all grade levels move through their four years in high school, SGA reminds students that they are heard, seen, and supported. Through the stresses of schoolwork, sports, and extracurricular activities, life might get overwhelming and balance might be hard to find. However, here on campus, Jaguars are recognized and encouraged to have open conversations about their mental health. By standing together change can continue to be made and lives can continue to be saved.
If you or someone you love is struggling with their mental health, please contact 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline— remember you are not alone.
