On May 23, the class of 2026 gathered together after school in the cafeteria to mark the beginning of the end. With food, music, and board games, the Step Up Day Social gave rising seniors the chance to bond with their classmates.
At the event, students got to pick up their Step-Up Day shirts and joined the senior group chat, where student council members will post announcements and updates on future senior events. It also gives students a space to connect with the whole class and talk about upcoming events.
“I loved getting to hang out with everyone and feel like senior year is starting,” said rising senior Alessandra Moreno. “I think it got everyone excited for step-up day, and it was just a great way to end our junior year.”
Some students opted for board games like Uno and Monopoly, while others took the chance to snap pictures with their friends. However the students decided to spend the time; the Step Up Day Social offered a glimpse into the next chapter for the class of 2026, allowing them to create memories and build connections as they step up into their final year.
