With the darkness of the full moon quickly being flooded by the designs of the skylit trees, a growing tradition soon sparks back up in the fields of South Florida. The Fairchild’s Night at the Garden event opens again from November to January. With this event, citizens of South Florida can walk through Fairchild’s Tropical Botanic Garden, discover a world of modern effects, technology, and projection, and enjoy the celebration of flavorful wonders.
Not long ago, a quick-growing tradition began in Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, which allow people of all ages to have a magical experience. With this event, they create artistic color combinations, dramatic lights, and modern and advanced sculptures that help citizens capture the garden’s natural beauty.
With the original creation of The Night at the Garden becoming an original display on January 6th, 2019, visitor Michael Pinlac says, “I’ve attended this event since 2020. I’ve seen it grow, and something different happens yearly as if it advances over time,” he says, “It always seems to improve and allows me to imagine different mystical creatures when I walk through the park.”
With guests usually spending approximately one hour, Night at the Garden also allows those to enjoy different foods and drinks they offer, such as popular food trucks, cocktails, and even mocktails. Paula Colon, a first-time visitor, says, “Walking into this place, I was shocked, I didn’t expect to be extremely colorful and full of amazing models, yummy foods, and even consist of dance parties.”
In the NightGarden event, guests can discover interactive surprises, including real fairies, a dance party with bubbles, colorful flashing lights, and music. Visitors can walk through the garden and vision the aspects of the glowing petals, whispers of fairies, and the shimmer gliding across the floor.
At every turn, there’s a chance to encounter magical creatures, sometimes, you may catch a luminescent owl guiding the way or even sprites. As the night progresses, the garden gives a great transformation of living inside a storybook, inviting guests to join the magic and participate in activities.
Visitors can also create their fairy lanterns and join in a secret woodland ceremony consisting of even more dancing that leaves visitors with a memorable experience. The event is a perfect place for stargazing or retreating to the twinkling lights and canopies.
The Night at the Garden is more than just an event–it’s a growing tradition that is an unforgettable experience and journey into a world where imagination has no limits. Whether you come to dance, explore, or simply lose yourself in the enchantment of the mystical garden, this one-of-a-kind experience is sure to leave you with memories that glow as brightly as the garden itself.
