On Tuesday, December 10th, Pembroke Pines Charter West Middle School hosted its annual science and history fair, as well as many more exciting presentations and shows, such as the band showcase, and the Jag Café. All of these events factored into the success of West Middle’s showcase.
The science fair consisted of many different and interesting science experiments, from being about the harmful chemicals that makeup contains, to how simply salt water dissolves. While the history fair was made up of many different presentations and boards about significant time periods in history. The Jag Café, hosted by the school’s debate team, had solo performances and speeches from several students, from presentations about being a woman in modern-day society to speeches about the significance of the Civil Rights movement.
All of this took place while the band played sweet melodies in their showcase. The event was a vibrant showcase of student creativity and talent, featuring the science and history fair, powerful speeches from the Jag Cafe, and musical performances by the band.
