The Lady Jags on the Prowl
A bounce back game for the Lady Jags as they hosted the Monarch Knights on Monday, December 2nd. After a long break, the Jaguars came back strong against the Knights with the final score of 8-0.
The Jaguars went on the road to Marjory Stoneman Douglas on Wednesday, December 4th. As the Jags headed into the match with the record of 4-1, this was a fast-paced match. Unfortunately the Lady Jags fell short with the final score of 1-0. The Eagles were able to break through the Jaguar back line.
As the Lady Jags new record is 4-2 and they are set to play @HOME vs Western on December 9th. They will then head to Pompano Beach High on December 13th.
Boys soccer protecting the den
Coming back from the holiday break the Jaguars were more than ready to host the Monarch Knights on Monday December 4th. The Jags protected the den once again with a 3-0 victory.
Making their way to face off the Eagles @Stoneman Douglas on Wednesday, December 6th, the Jags were ready to bring home another win. The Jaguars defeated the Eagles with the final score of 2-0. Senior Captain Justin Treasure was named MVP for his two goals that gave the Jaguars another win.
Currently the Jaguars hold a 7-0-2 record. They will host the Western Wildcats Monday December 9th. They will then be facing Pompano Beach AWAY, Friday December 13th.
Defending the state title: Boys Basketball
The Jaguars faced their first loss of the season to the Western Wildcat with a tough defeat. Bouncing back quicker than ever the Jags made their way to Dillard, Tuesday, November 3rd. Another victory was added with a strong 56-30 win. Once again Senior Captain, Maxx Ortega led the Jaguars with 17 points.
This past weekend our Jags faced Wellington High in a neutral tournament. A strong match up, as the Jaguars led throughout the entire game, but the Wolverines did make their way to even. Unfortunately, coming short in overtime, the final score was 43-41.
The Jaguars face a triple header week as they go up against Coral Glades and Blanche Ely. Their current record stands at 2-2.
Shooting for success: Girls Basketball
The Lady Jags faced Dillard AWAY on Tuesday, November 3rd, ending with another victory of 58-14. Freshman Caroline Curl led off the Jags with 19 points. Right behind her was Junior Madison Ojeda with 14 points.
Heading to Mater Lakes Academy on November 5th, the Jags unfortunately fell short at the end with a final score of 91-48.
A triple header week for the Lady Jags as they beat Coral Glades, Blanche Ely, and St. Thomas Aquinas.
