Just outside the fountain, the National Honor Society board members waited for the final bell to conclude the end of the school day. The whole board chanted loudly “Bake sale! Bake sale!” which caught the eyes of many PPCHS students who craved a sweet treat after a long day. Rushing to the bake stand, students crowded the table to purchase chips and pastries to consume on their way out of the school.
Not only were students able to purchase treats for themselves and their friends, but by spending five dollars at the NHS bake sale would allow students to receive a free gift. To reminisce on the chilly nights and the start of fall, NHS offered crochet pumpkins to students to give their thanks in supporting their chapter right before the Thanksgiving break!
