PPCHS recently celebrated Red Ribbon Week, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the importance of living drug-free. The theme this year, “Life is a movie, Film drug free,” aimed to inspire students to prioritize their mental and physical well-being.
During this week, it is a tradition to display red ribbons in your hair or pinned on your shirt to remind and inspire others about the importance of being drug-free. With the Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) club also heavily involved this week, members were able to organize pledge signings, posters were put up around school, and also they encouraged students to pledge to live tobacco-free lives.
Through Red Ribbon Week and SWAT’s efforts, PPCHS fosters a supportive community where students are empowered to make positive choices that lead to a safe and healthy future.
