During summer, students have more time to relax and do the activities that they have been waiting to do. Some prefer to lie down by the pool or go to the beach, while others like to sit down and watch a new show that just came out. From Love Island and The Bachelorette to the new season of Umbrella Academy, Charter students love the drama and plot twists summer shows bring. With all the shows that came out over the break, here are some of Charter’s favorites:

“Over the summer, I watched Umbrella Academy with my dad; it was pretty fun. It was really exciting to see what the creators were planning this whole time.” – Juan Lopez, Sophomore
“I watched Love Island over the summer, and I watched it because I like to watch fun competition games, and I thought it was really entertaining and their egos were very high.” – Briana Mendez, Sophomore

“My favorite summer show was definitely The Bachelorette. I was so excited when I heard a new season was released. It’s so entertaining and funny… but upsetting when Jen picked the wrong guy.” – Lorelei Santos, Senior
“One of my favorite shows from summer wasn’t really a new show but a recent season, season 9 of Suits. It was a really good season. I really liked how every character was written, but I was disappointed Mike and Rachel weren’t in it.” – Ricardo Ramirez, Senior
