Among the chatter and laughter that could be heard in the cafeteria, the sweet aroma of boba and tasty snacks could also be smelled after school on November 28th as Charter’s own Asian Pacific Islander Association (APIA) hosted its first ever boba social. The event was organized to raise money for the club, and it offered students a wide range of different boba flavors, such as passion fruit, taro, and mango peach. The cafeteria tables were also lined with countless snacks and plushies for students to buy. The event was not only a way for students to socialize and eat, but it was also successful in embracing diversity and celebrating Asian culture here at Charter!

It’s super cool to see students socializing and embracing diversity at our school. And the boba sounds amazing. It’s awesome that we have opportunities to come together, learn from each other and have fun while doing it.
