This past weekend, many people were ecstatic, especially DC Comics fans, to be met with a new film to go see in theaters. Many couldn’t wait to put on their best Batman tees, grab their favorite candy, and sit down to see The Batman on Friday night.

The Batman stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, and Paul Dano, each playing a different part in the inner workings of Gotham City. The movie was released on Friday, March 4th, to which fans rushed to the theaters over the weekend to see it.

“I was feeling excited!” says freshman Isabella Cioffi when asked her feelings prior to seeing the movie.

Given its three hour long duration, Isabella says that she expected The Batman to be DC’s best movie yet.

“I wouldn’t say it was the best movie, but [it was] definitely amazing!” To summarize everything in three words, Isabella would describe the movie as very “long, action-filled, and cool.”

On the other hand, some Jags absolutely loved every part of the movie!

Senior Radliff Jeantinor says that the movie met every single one of his expectations.

“The movie was great and I was honestly expecting it to be good,” he says. “It went above and beyond my expectations.”

Radliff also says that he would describe the movie as very cool, really enjoyable, and powerful.

Overall, The Batman seems to evoke tons of different reactions from different people and fans. Many absolutely love the movie, while for others, it’s a completely different case. Make sure to check out The Batman while it’s still in theaters!
